Accord-Désaccord

Accord-Désaccord questions the relationships between communities and their environments, and how neighbourhoodness can be defined not only by geography but also by wider forces that continually alter relations of proximity and distance.

Its title holds agreement and disagreement together, suggesting that coexistence may not be a state of permanent harmony but an ongoing negotiation between differences and conflicts. Here, the interface is understood not only in terms of bodies and technologies, but also through the changing relationships by which communities inhabit a shared world.
